We're buried! TONS of the white stuff. In some places nearly 28 inches. There was NO traffic on the streets except for the plows, my broadcast brethren, and fools, oh and no public transit save for the underground Metro. Which is what I ended up hiking to up River Road in Bethesda where I live to the Metro Station. After stopping at Booeymonger's for a nice cup of java and a great sandwich. Which reminds me, yes, there really IS a deli named Booeymonger's, in fact here's this: http://www.booeymonger.com/locations.html

Anyway, when I got off the Metro at Dupont Circle I ran right into this:

And here's the view from my flat and no Tim, only ONE snap, I promise!

Any policemen threaten to shoot anyone this time?

HA! Luckily no EJ. Yeah that angry DC homicide detective was nowhere in sight thankfully. Interestingly enough, the intersection of 14th Street @ U Streets where that unfortunate incident played out also had a crowd flinging snow at each other too. But the crowd at DuPont was massive & had tons of fun. Oh, and the nearby Starbucks made a small fortune in Latte & hot chocolate sales....
