No wonder legislators hate courts. ;-D

... I have to wonder why it is that no-one, or group of people, here in Canada haven't thought of creating an LGBT Party; after all it would not be an alien concept to us, as we have enjoyed a long history of 'off-beat' Political Parties and their elected Members, having seen Nazis, Communists and other disparate groups of Fascists, Doukhobors, Libertarians, Unitarians, Greens, Separatiste and what not over the years stand for, and get elected, to Parliament.

It would make for some creative rhetoric amongst the Parliamentarians, and certainly be cause for great amusement amongst the media as everyone jockeyed for a position on whatever a LGBT Party's platform might be.

On the other hand, I find it refreshing that the name of the Filipino Party when translated simply means, according to the article, "Coming Out", and that it should be a "Third World" nation and not one from either the "First" or "Second" that is pushing forward with this political agenda.

Perhaps, if supported widely by LGBT's everywhere, it could become a Worldwide political movement? And, to borrow (and likely suborn) a phrase from recent advertising by The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, fronted by Canadian Yannic Brisson, "That would be worth a talk!"

Methinks the pope will be saying something about this.
I was not aware of how Catholic the Phillipine nation is.
