Apparently they now have a group on Facebook called "One Million in Favour of The Death Penalty for Homosexuality in Uganda" which posts what they refer to as a copy of the actual law at http://tinyurl.com/ycvvq2g . A "friend" of mine (actually an ex work-aquaintance) became a fan of this group. It so infuriated me that I commented on this status of his calling him a "sick puppy". Damn, things like this make me mad. I sure hope my action wasn't akin to me coming out or anything like that.
I prefer guys that don't come in a box.

You have to realise that sick people exist. Facebook will remove the group if sufficient people report it as offensive

... without waiting for users to "report" it. It has under circumstances that were far less obvious examples of hate-mongering behaviour. What makes this one an exception to their prior conduct?

Facebook acts by the users reporting things. It does not police unless requested.
