Dear Folks,

As always, its entertaining to watch the discourse here which varies from the young lad near the Chesapeake Bay's ah, *ahem* art to Tim's rather well thought out column on taking law enforcement a wee bit too far, (By the way Tim, welcome home from the land of the rising sun!} to Shem's anger over the rather draconian sweep-up of a 12 year old in WA on Child Porn charges. Then too, Chris weighing in from South Florida with his unique perspectives.

So, Where has Brody been? Busy as hell covering the news and to my friends in the UK, good luck with this new coalition government led by Prime Minister Cameron. I am VERY curious to see how long THAT government operates for before Her Majesty is accepting yet another government...

Anyway, Nikita is back for another summer this time working at a 'Smoothie King' (Google that as I have no bloody clue how to best describe a 'smoothie') franchise up on Connecticut Avenue NW, studying English, and generally being his usual bouncy 20 year old Ukrainian self, I am so happy to have him back its so refreshing. My youngest and his boy friend are off to do a 'road trip' in the American West and then head up the coast to our homeland to visit friends in BC.

And, I ended up with three stranded boys from the Ukraine as a result of my friendship with the manager of the firm that sponsors the Uni students that Niki uses. he, (Stan since the Ukrainian equiv is not translatable) Skyped me in a fit because the three had arrived too early to commence their 'Work-Study'programme and had no housing etc so my small flat in Bethesda is rather full but its joyous... well maybe except for the fact that 19 year old teenagers can REALLY pack the food away. I'll include some snaps in the post below here.
Let's see, oh yeah, my computer that my assistants use to run my office lost the bloody plot so Brody's Notes & Scribbles sorta passed away briefly on Wednesday. Fortunately it was recoverable and I popped round to the local Best Buy electronics shop and purchased a Western-Digital 'My Book' One terabyte portable spare HD which has a USB 2.0 plug in. Lins & Mark love it and I can breath easier.

That's it except to say JFR Shalom! Tim, of course I really hope you & SWMBO found a decent Tearoom during your travels, and to the rest I hope that the end of Spring is pleasant and the early summer fun...

Warmest Regards,

Brody Levesque

The first shot is Ruslan, Anton, & Jenka in Front of the WH by the appointments/press gate and then the second one was shot at a sandwich shop nearby and as you can see......

Welcome back, MFJ. You were missed - by me, at any rate.

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)
