on holiday for a fortnight and not going near a computer.
I'm depending on you, Kiwi, to announce the solstice.
Hugs
Nigel
I dream of boys with big bulges in their trousers,
Never of girls with big bulges in their blouses.
…and look forward to meeting you in Cóito.

It happens today - June 21, 1128hrs. From here on you Northerners start losing the sun - it's coming back where it belongs. (Good job too. Winter sucks).
And i beat Nigel in announcing it - kind of.
cheers
Commas matter - 'Party on Dudes' is not the same as 'Party on, Dudes'

You would never know it here in the US Pacific Northwest from the cool temps and rain falling. I needed a sweatshirt this morning during the dogs' walk and didn't overheat. A couple of days ago I was in a T-shirt and sweating; but today proves that summer still hasn't arrived even if the sun is starting to head back to you Southerners. Enjoy it while you have it since it will be headed back to us in 6 months.

Sounds like good Eureka California weather. I spent four years up there and summers were late autumns/early winters. I do miss those summers though in hot 100 degree plus summers in Santa Clarita. I do must admit that this is my more favorite time of the year, summer heading into winter.
