I have a great deal of respect for Anne Rice and what she has said and done. It's always good when one so famous steps forward and speaks the truth of what so many think.

I respect Leonard Pitts as well. I have been following his editorial columns for years, we have exchanged e-mail when I thought he was spot on the money with his words. I guess I owe him another for this:
