Thanks timmy. We're all okay - a rude awakening though. Nothing like an earthquake to show how powerless you really are. Scary stuff.

My son says that his house is a mess, but it usually is anyway. Radio news just reported that his suburb, New Brighton - by the sea, is being evacuated because of sewage flooding - they're in the shit!
