Change is afoot here at A Place Of Safety; and, before you all go asking, I have no idea just what changes Timmy has in mind; I'm not privy to such information, nor should I properly be; my standing here is the same as all others save the "Mystery Moderator", Megaman and Timmy himself.

Here's what I'm asking of each and everyone of you; those regulars such as have become, near as can be stated, "fixtures" around here, much as I have become:

Reach out to all of the youngsters who have been known to, at one time or another frequent this Forum, specifically those that you've been in some sort of contact with, or any that you still can, regardless of whether they are still youngsters or not, and have them return to the Forum, for one occasion only, to take Timmy's Poll and respond to my thread, linked below:

http://forum.iomfats.org/w-agora/view.php?site=forumiomfatsorg&bn=forumiomfatsorg_placeofsafety&key=1283983215

This must be done quickly as Timmy returns sometime, likely Sunday, and he's going to need hard "numbers" on which to base decisions he's away thinking about.

MAKE IT HAPPEN FOLKS!

A Place Of Safety needs all of us now more than ever before, and we need to work cohesively, and from strength, to help ring in whatever changes are forthcoming.

This is like watching a train-wreck in slow motion, isn't it? Thanks for trying, Warren, i'm impressed! But, you may as well stop banging your head on the wall now. And thanks for caring about the Forum, i do too and so do others, like Saben etc, but probably not enough.

I suspect that by this time next week APOS will be nothing more than a memory. Hope i'm wrong, but i think that timmy will probably shut it down, which would be a real shame and a loss to us all, but what else can he do? He doesn't need these frustrations, it's not like it's his job or something.

Everyone here are grown-ups and there are some awesome intellects amongst you all. We're widely scattered and we are all different, but we're all on the same side, aren't we? What other army shoots its own wounded?

Thanks to everyone who has contributed here over the years - like the little girl with the curl in the middle of her forehead, when you're good, you're very, very good.

cheers

OH, Kiwi, I do hope you are wrong.

And when she was bad she was horrid!

But I can't believe that of us.
Love,
Anthony

I've grown accustom to the forum. I'm a late joiner but I got what I wanted and looked for more. Maybe I'm not an everyday joiner. I'm a quiet lurker at times as well. But generally, this place took care of my needs. I'm not too sure if being more a regular would be the ticket for me. Time just isn't always a friend. But what I've read and felt, this was a good place for me to be.
But if it does shut down, take my email address and keep in some touch. I'd like that. With a four year old daughter and a full time career, I do try to stay in touch.
But as the saying goes, it ain't over until it's over!
