It continues to get messier as the Christofacists continue to completely disregard the basic humanity of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered communities in their zeal to eliminate them.
Headlining this latest round is Tony Perkins of the Family research Council:

And this makes you feel ... how ?
The useful actions that any of us here can take about this specific issue are ... what ?
The fact that we now have one further example of the intolerance of some US rightwing "Christians" to add to the several hundred already on record is useful to us ... because ?
And, I watched the first two minutes - what about this could possibly induce me to waste a futher nearly seven minutes of my life watching this interminable drivel any further ?

Here's a follow-up companion piece also headlining our favorite douchenozzle Tony Perkins regarding the decision by a U. S. District Court Judge on DADT late last night in California:
"It is hard to believe that a District Court level judge in California knows more about what impacts military readiness than the service chiefs who are all on the record saying the law on homosexuality in the military should not be changed. Once again, homosexual activists have found a judicial activist who will aid in the advancement of their agenda. This is a decision for Congress that should be based upon the input of the men and women who serve and those who lead them." - Family Research Council President Tony Perkins.
We've had nigh on 48-hours of no controversy what-so-ever here. DO NOT start it up all over again.
Brody is entitled to post his articles making his views known to our Membership; he has, in addition, been asked to provide some sort of context to each of them in future, which he has, albeit however grudgingly, done so here.
The rest of us are equally entitled to express our opinions, however that may run contrary to Brody's own or any one elses' for that matter; but, sideways snipes at one another are not going to be again tolerated; by anyone.
Timmy returns in two days. Can we not at least allow him to return to some semblance of cohesion and civility within the ranks of his Forum?

... the "former regular poster®" soubriquet has become tired, and very old.
You have made your point; sufficiently so. It is time to return "as you", and be the kind, compassionate, caring, contributor to this Forum that you have historically been, and I know you can be once again.
I, and a host of others here, do truly value your thoughts and expressed opinions; but please, no more behind a shamelessly transparent alter-ego. It is one thing to adopt an entirely "new" persona, espousing a position that maybe could not be expressed in the normal fashion; but, to continue to flog a dead horse, and do it in such a manner that we all know who you are anyway is a sham; one that belittles both you and the Forum in the process.
Welcome back NW®.
I look forward to seeing more of you, and of your sharing your take on what's going on around you, and the World, as you so lucidly often view it.

Tony Perkins is aghast that a judge would dismiss the will of the people, selective memory Tony? In California, 1963 in response to recently passed legislation on 'the fair housing act' Prop. 14 was passed by the people by 65% of the vote. I was shaking my head at all the black people sitting in the audience listening and applauding Tony. Prop. 14 was aimed at them, discriminating where they could live. The 'Not in my neighborhood' Proposition was also over turned by the court.
