Never, not ever, give up.
In an article shared by Yonatan Gher on facebook today , I read that the organisation he spearheads has received, at last, funding that has been denied it so often by the municipality.
That organisation, Jerusalem Open House, provides exactly what it says on the label - an open house - and much more to the teeming city's LGBT population.
Did I mention Jew, Palestinian, Arab, Israeli, Christian, Muslim? No I did not. I mentioned LGBT.
The article is at http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3953878,00.html
Do I suggest any action from you?
No, except to read it, maybe to add your voice to positive talkbacks, for I am sure there will be the usual nutbar ones soon, perhaps to publicise it wider if you have a blog, or to place it oin other LGBT forums where you see fit.
