You know those never-ending Oscar-acceptance speeches, where they mention everyone from the office-cleaner to their first-grade teachers? Well, this is how it's done in New Zealand.

Paul Henry is our controversial breakfast-show host on tv, famous for ad-libs, such as when he pondered on whether Susan Boyle was a retard?

Enjoy.

That programme, and especially this fellow, could never be aired in North America.

Following several of the links at the close of this clip is definitely an eye-opener.

Sure beats the sports figures here in USA who's use of the non word "...umm..." is almost hypnotic.

Too true he wouldn't make it to air in America. The US is an enigma - prudish and conservative to the extreme but still home to the likes of South Park and Bill Maher.

cheers
