Here’s an incredible story about Oak Reed, a transgendered high school homecoming king candidate who would have won by a landslide had the school board not disqualified him, and the ensuing outcry from his majesty’s peers. These kids are NOT having it, and now the story’s getting national attention.

... when featured a day or two ago at netscape.aol.com, the young Reed had in fact won and been elected Homecoming King by his peers; the School Board over-ruled the Student Body vote, disqualifying him on the basis of his being "transgendered"; and no his peers are not taking this one lying down; they are actively campaigning to have him reinstated, and making all manner of problem for the School Administration.
