Beaverton, Oregon... The Jesus factor is very high out there. A town of sixteen square miles, 90,000 people and churches...tons and tons of churches.
Is it any wonder that a gay man would be singled out for his dress. Imagine the horror if a bus load of preppies stopped off there. To condemn a man for his sweater, now that is the very definition of redneck!
I had to show this map. If all of the dots are churches, tax exempt by law, who the Fing hell pays taxes out there? Probably just the gay people.

Age appears to be best in four things; old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read. (Sir Francis Bacon 1561-1626)

Obviously a place of unspeakable evil with all those churches. Very few people realise that the 'dark satanic mills' of Blake's 'Jerusalem' were not industrial buildings, but were the churches.
That Beaverton citizens can;t work out which particular dark satanic mill to be seen in is one thing. Countering the bigoted outpourings in the thread under the petition is quite another.
Let's counter them, one and all.
