We seem remarkably silent about it.

Um, I don't have a purple shirt. But I wore my DC Pride shirt with the rainbow flag on it and a large floppy straw hat to the market...really enjoyed the strange looks from all the litle old ladies ;-D

In my Intermediate school, we had about 15 teachers wear purple. I have been so absorbed in my own personal issues that I wasn't even aware of the day. I wish I had known, I have at least 3 purple shirts with matching ties. :-[

I wore a purple shirt and my wrist cast was coloured purple for me by a friend. I severely sprained my left wrist this past Saturday.

Not to hijack the post, Timmy, but you said purple was for spirit, and that made me curious about the origins of that. In case anyone else felt a need to dig it up, I found this information. It was illuminating. I guess we all need to find out more about our group history and the cultural things that bind us.

Enjoy!
