Terrel Williams who was bullied and had his ribs broken, succumbed to suicide.

This is despite the love of his family and his boyfriend of some 7 years.

Not that you need bother to come back, Cossie, unless you can learn to behave. Stamping and storming off twice is quite enough, but it's a war when peaceful kids get slammed into walls and get their ribs broken just because they happen to be gay.

The declaration of war? You need more than this, do you?

It's Ok, though. I mean he was a black kid as well as a fucking fag. He deserved to die.

And then there's this shit.

Sign me up, then, Timmy. This is one wolf tired of hearing about kids being hassled, harassed and driven to such drastic and bitter ends.
Let us end this.

It's not the wolf you see you should fear, but all the ones he howls with. Don't be afraid of the song, but don't piss off the choir.

This one is real, however: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamilton_Southeastern_High_School#Bullying We checked. And, for the record, DAMN. Why does another kid have to do this stupid thing? Why??????

Marcus Bell killed himself on 20 October after bullying at Hamilton Southeastern High School. Non attributable reports say he was bullied by gangsta niggas for being effeminate.

To you and me this means he was a normal decent lad who wouldn't join their fucking stupid gangs. There is no commentary on whether Marcus was gay or straight, and, what is more, it doesn't matter what he was. He was just a 14 year old high school kid.

What perturbs me is the lack of mainstream media coverage. The blogosphere picked this up, but I could find no mainstream references aside form those cited in Wikipedia, at least yet.

I have full expectations that the reference will be deleted from WP, since it will annoy the school, but it WILL stick. Some of us are battle hardened there.

There are, so far, three news items. The wikipedia article has them. However you may have to look at the history because someone has already deleted the material there once stating "other than the wrong spelling of the school and incorrect use of a made-up word, this is not a significant, distinguishing element of the school; not particularly uncommon elsewhere."

The material was deleted within an hour of addition, and it looks as if it will be deleted often. People protect their schools blindly.

Other folk here familiar with wikipedia might check the article there and make sure this information stays in it. It's easy to do

The State of Indiana has no hate crimes laws or protection for gay people, while next door in Illinois there is a full list of statutes that protect LBGT persons.
