If so, where is your It Gets Better Project video?

You can record one through your webcam, your mobile phone, your digicam, your video camera.

So where's yours?

All that's needed is clear sound. You don;t have to be a professional presenter, you just have to be yourself.

So where is yours?

Many of us here are out. So, if you are out, where is your video?

You know, that is something that truly aggravates me.

No answers and no videos.

What are you waiting for on either count?

If you aren't out then you aren't out. But we have one heck of a lot of folk here who are. How about proving you're a real out gay man by either answering with a reason why not, or a video? What about showing an example?

And that reason. Being nervous is not a reason, but, if you're nervous I commit to helping you to overcome those nerves.

At present I am disgusted.

Very difficult Timmy,I am caught between that rock and the hard place.

I have seen many of the "It Gets Better" videos and admire the efforts that have been put into them. Some are outstanding and offer real help and understanding.
I appreciate the motivation behind them, and the suffering that the bullied kids and young feel, all too well.

But it is difficult to make a video around a subject which does not coincide with one's own experiences. So some of us feel it is better to contribute to ending bullying and assisting those who suffer from it in other ways. I am working on that, but it is a project that needs time and effort.

I absolutely support the project and its good intentions, but where I am mentally does not allow me to make one with all honesty.

Call me naive if you want, but life without trust in the goodness of others would be intolerable.

To me that is a good answer. One can only make a useful video from the heart. If life experiences have not been useful for the theme then the video is false.

I am lucky that I can attempt to do the thing you are doing as well, in my own way, of course.

... and I'll be placing placing a copy of it on his host server.

He tells me that I'll have to e-Mail you and Brody the link to the server, the username and the password, and together you can edit it to your heart's content and onward post it on his Blog (same username, same password) and at YouTube's "It Get's Better" Project we-page.

He asks that you take care of this for him as it's quite beyond my kin to be able to do this, and he'll not have the strength to undertake this himself.

I think he should wait until he recovers, but I know it is important to him

... but it is going to have to await my return.

I can't seem to get a camera working under Windows 7 ... a half-dozen or so cameras and none of them will give me both audio and vidéo at one and the same time.

I'm returning to the hospital now and may or may not get another chance before the surgery.
