In an article in The Daily telegraph on Monday June 11th 2001, the second most senior Anglican bishop is quoted as saying that Homosexuality is Divinely Ordered.
I have scanned the article and posted it on http://www.iomfats.org as well as OCRing the text. It makes interesting reading.

In the current isssue of Gay Times there is a review of the various religious publications. One particular Roman Catholic one suggests that the atmosphere in one London seminary (like a priest training college), Allen Hall, is so homosexually-charged that straight wannabe-priests find it intimidating.
And homosexuality is frowned upon by the Vatican. Make your own judgements

While this edict from the Anglican Church is most welcome indeed (isn't it great to feel "holy"?!), it obviously didn't come without a lot of acrimonious debate (and it seems that great division still exists among the Church hierarchy on this matter). Still, I wish other mainstream religions will catch on to this (especially the ultra right wing so-called "Christian" churches here in the USA: while Jesus preached love, these "churches" preach hate).

Saul wrote to Philemon, what today would be a pornographic love letter saying how much joy he, Saul, had in the Lord when he, Philemon, f_cked him, Saul!
The word "bowels" was used 38 times in the Bible, each time meaning the internal guts of whatever like the inner workings of the earth!
But fret not. Your Professional Faith Merchants have already been confronted with the dichotomy and contradiction between Saul’s sexual escapades and his mistranslated writings in Romans and Corinthians and they have altered the wording of their Bibles. This presents them with yet another dilemma. If the KJV is the infallible, inerrant word of God and it says Saul wanted Philemon to f_ck him, how can they alter the wording and still accept it as the infallible word of God. Satan just digs his hole deeper and deeper until he has dug himself and all those who follow him back down to hell where he belongs!

Don't be deceived by Satan's Professional Faith Merchants. Gay or Straight, ALL are children of God. Jesus Christ did not say one word to condemn homosexuality but he did say that Saul of Tarsus, albeit bisexual, said that Saul of Tarsus was a liar of Satan and the antichrist because he lied about being an Apostle of Jesus Christ.

For those of you who believe homosexuality was ordained by God, please go through the book of Romans Chapter 1 in the Bible. Since I went through some of the replies in this thread, I should mention that this was written by Paul (some of you here in this forum conveniently interpreted one of the verses in the Bible to say that he was a homosexual) and here is what he has to say about homosexuality and what God's view of homosexuality is (among other sins). Please note the adjective used to describe the people involved in these sins - FOOLISH, FOOLS. Instead of interpreting verses that may have nothing to do with homosexuality conveniently to suit your view point, these are some verses that clearly talk about homosexuality. I wish you all the best for your eternal destiny. Take care.
I am attaching the verses below in KJV so that you don't have to look for these verses. I will start from verse 18 of Romans Ch. 1:
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
