After a three-hour debate, the chamber voted to ratify the bill with 230 votes in favor, 51 against and 31 abstained. It is now illegal to discriminate against people on basis of their ethnic heritage, skin color, home country or sexual orientation.
Religious scriptures (such as the bible) will still be allowed, and priests will not be arrested and jailed for preaching their faith, though I suppose if a sermon specifically targets homosexuality, there will probably be trouble. ...Which is as it should be in my opinion.
