I'm not sure how many "m's" and "o's" were actually in the string (I think I'm understating them), but I want whoever has the account to know my Domino Mail-server "bounced" your message responding to one of my *posts* before I could capture it.
Kindly re-submit the e-Mail, and it WILL be captured this time.

Dear Warren,
I think this is no more than a spam attempt because I received the same message from this so called momo… and when I replied it bounced back at me saying that this account has been terminated due to abuse.

Yes, but Rick, is it a good one? I wasn't brave enough to risk my PC and address books by going there out of curiosity.
Scary that it found me on 2 voy boards plus this one, and one of the voy boards it named has been at least a few weeks since I've posted - in the archives I'm sure. Thorough 'bot, that's for sure.

... and subsequent forwarding to me of your own correspondence regarding this enquiry.
When I first opened your message, I for just a moment assumed "he" (or she) had responded to my request that he again contact me.
I suspect that T. J. is right when he suggests that this user employs a particularly clever "bot" when harvesting e-Mail addresses, especially allowing that it does quote where it has obtained the address, all in the guise of making interested and friendly contact.
Like T. J., I too, would be interested in knowing to what sufficiency his site would, or could, prove to be entertaining;
{sigh}
but, alas I've not been able to figure out how to capitalize on having been supplied his inorder to view his photo(s).
Maybe another time.
In reply ro your question, yes I am familiar with the novel (one that I revisit with some regularity), as I am with both the silent-screen classic, and I believe a late 1940's or early 1950's remake of a film of the same title.
I come by the name "The Gay Deceiver" honestly, it first having been associated, and used in conjunction, with my behaviour whilst I was of a tender late teen-aged year, by my mother, who of a certain age would in all likelihood have been familiar with my famous "name-sake" and predecessor.
In the presence of my mother, father, elder brother and others, I had just been introduced to my brother's latest paramour, who wailed "that anyone who looked like I did [at that point in time] couldn't possibly ever be queer, and if I were it would be such a waste".
In general, my proclivity towards sexual excesses being somewhat acknowledged within the family, and more specifically to her untoward comment, my mother, God bless her, averred that "she [the girl-friend] had best not be entertaining any thoughts about her aiming on, or being capable of, pleasing that which she appeared to be so intend on teasing!" My mother's statement, and it's tacit approval by the others, was one of only two occasions I ever recall of any discussion of my sexuality ever having been made in the presence of "outsiders", whether inside, or outside of the home. The other being my family's stock response to all, and any, considered suggestion by others that I might be a "faggot"; this being "We're aware of our son's personal preferences regarding that issue; but, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for wanting to share this imformation with us".
Ironically this young lady was never again a guest in my parent's home, apparently not having survived the "cut" as far as my brother was concerned.
To all who might wish to learn more about my rather flamboyant and contentious "name-sake", I suggest either of the following links:
http://www.icp.org/weegee/
http://www.cincinnatiartmuseum.com/greatart/exhibitions_weegee.shtml
He was decidely well head of his time, but none-the-less for it, and despite his penchant for grabbing headlines, worthy of the attention showered upon him.
{sigh}
Would that I were only capable of filling shoes!
