I am looking for a story about two boys that lived on the U.S./Canada border around Abbotsford B.C. They met when one of the boys had a flat on his bike and they hopped across the border to fix it. They eventually became good friends and visited back and forth.
Under these COVID related times I would like to get the name to pass along to some friends to read.
Hope someone can help.

I recall the story. They both lived in back to back homes with their back fences abutting each other's yards across the border. Both of their fathers were border patrol agents for their respective countries. The boys dug a tunnel between their garden sheds so they could tryst together bumping uglies or making out or whatever. They also started their own little black market in candy at their local schools, selling candy brands or bars not available in their own countries to their classmates. This continued for awhile until...
I don't recall what site it's on or who the author is.

Well done, Pedro!
Like Teddy I could recal the story outline, but that was as far as I could go. Now I can enjoy reading it again. Thanks!

Gee Whillikers is a very good author. Some of the best stories I have read by Gee are -- "The Scariest Costume of All" -- http://dabeagle.com/stories/gee/shorts/scarycostume.ht ml
and his novel "The Wish" -- http://dabeagle.com/storymainpages/WishHome.html
and a gay hockey story, -- http://dabeagle.com/stories/gee/shorts/ooml.html and at the end, Gee explains what hockey differences he used to make the story better.
Stories by Gee Whillikers (pseudonym) are on Dabeagle.com and awesomedude.com and codeysworld.com with the most stories being on AD. However, there is one story (The Spelling Bee) that is on Codeysworld.com and not on the other two sites.

The Wish, linked above, is one of my favorites of Gee's. Probs also in my top 10 of this genre. Great story by an accomplished author.

For what it's worth,
'The Spelling Bee' is on AD, just that it is buried in the forums and not in the main bookshelf. It was posted as a response to topic Gee himself had first raised. He later added a second tale, unnamed, to the same thread. https://forums.awesomedude.com/topic/10657-mamihlapinatapai/ ?ct=1612241324

I am also looking for a series of stories I believe I read here years ago. If it wasn't here it was a very similar looking site.
It was a series set in Australia coast in a small town where it seems from the stories many gay runaways or kicked out ended up and ended up becoming friend in that smaller town near the coast. I Believe in one of the stories one of those boys was living in his car on the beach. I do not remember the name of the stories or the author, just that there were a few stories that had characters from earlier stories in them.
Anyone remember these if so let me know the author or name of those stories, it is not impossible he has written more stories since.

Hi Wizard
Try the stories by Mark Peters here on this site. He does -or did have - his own site that may have more than here. His tales are set on East coast Aus. IIRC southern Queensland.
If his stories aren't the ones you were looking for, try those by Kiwi, also on this site. They are also set in small coastal town except in New Zealand, not Aus.
Happy hunting
P

His site is at -- ponyboysplace dot com and when I looked it up just now I saw I couple of stories I had not seen on any other site.

Mark is gradually re-proofreading, editing and passing us his stories. Thus you will see more on his site until that process is complete. He also has some new tales under way.

For anyone coming to this conversation late, as I did: The link quoted above no longer works, since AwesomeDude is no longer at that address. Replace ".com" by ".org" in that link and it will work. There is also a related story by Pedro in that same thread that is well worth a read, although fair warning: it involves a fairly dreadful pun. Corrected link: https://forums.awesomedude.org/topic/10657-mamihlapinatapai/ ?ct=1612241324

I ended up reading Mark Peters stories and felt I read one that wasn't listed there After going throught them. Thanks to you guys and posting his website I found the one I was missing which was named A good place.
I dont know if its missing here because he's reworking on it or was never on here which I doubt since I had to read it somewhere before but at the moment it is missing in the series in case you want to add it.

I can't wait to see the new stories. I'm just done reading A good place from his wordpress which was pretty much the one I remember reading years ago. I read the earlier stories on this site before that were re-edited but since it had been so long since I read them originally, I didn't see if they were different than before.
I'll keep checking for when A good place reedited comes back here since I just read it, to read again and see if I can spot the difference between them.
In the meantime any good suggestions on what I could read next?
