Timmer - I know you're home alone, but I'm keeping you in my thoughts a lot. I wanted to write you something longer and more personal but technology conspired against me yesterday, and now it's doing it again... I hope this will be enough for you. HUGS my dear friend.

MT - thanks for your continued support, it means an awful lot. Tell us more of what happens during your flirting endeavours, and stay safe while Crazy Bush is still at large! Smile

e - our own little vowel! Smile Take care, and please try to get some more Lion's Den finished, it would be a most excellent post-christmas gift. Trying to keep your advice in mind and thinking good thoughts.

Trevor - hope everything is okay with you. I should have mailed you I know, don't know why I haven't gotten around to it, but it's not for lack of wanting I assure you! Hope everyhthing's okay over in your neck of the woods. Take care friend!

Setras - I sent you a christmas greeting before you left, but here's another just because you're such a great, awesome friend of mine... Thanks for being a most excellent buddy, you couldn't ever do a better job. Smile

smith - After like fifteen page reloads I finally managed to take a look at your email. LOVED the wonderful card. Thank you so much, that one was truly special. (And I'm reading the dark materials now too btw. Smile)

You brighten up my life and make me smile when I'm feeling blue... Hugs, love all of you guys lots and LOTS!

Merry christmas and stuff of course.

-Lenny

PS: Could someone give me the url to comsie's site please? He's not at the old address and I don't have a bookmark on this computer...

Thanks for the greetings Lenny. I hope you had a really nice Christmas.

I'd love to get the final chapter of Lion's Den up soon. But I'm having a bit of a problem. My computer has died. I think it's a problem with the HD controller that's built into the motherboard. Regardless, it won't recognize the HD. I do have a backup, but it's a Ghost file spread across a bunch of CD Roms and I don't have a way to restore it just yet.

I've got my eye on a laptop, but don't have the funds to buy it right now. I'm still working on getting my insurance to cover the damage the winter storms did to my house. I don't know how much of the damage they will cover so I've got to save my money at the moment.

Sorry for the long winded explaination.

Merry Christmas and think good thoughts,
e

FĂnally back home again... Aaahhh! The sanctity of one's own place can never be underestimated! Smile

Sorry to those I fooled by apparantly forgetting to log out of the messenger before I left... Uh, such things happens with me. *blush*

Read a bit of the first book of the dark materials, maybe a third or so, and it's a really fascinating book so far. Things are similar to this world, yet sufficiently 'off' to make it feel rather exotic I must say. I look forward to reading the rest of it, as soon as I can!

Christmas overall was a bit of a let-down. One of my buddies didn't come to my old home town yesterday like he said he would and was sitting on the northbound train today just as I was sitting on the southbound bus... So we missed each other completely. *sigh* I also hoped that my parents would have been a bit more generous (wanted to be able to afford a PS2 upon arriving back here), but alas, that was not to be. I'll have to save some more I guess...

Got some nice boxer-briefs though, and a very nice black shirt which I will wear to the new year's eve dinner I've been invited to (shirt I mean, not briefs Smile). That will hopefully be fun, by the way. The dinner will be at my doctor friend's place which is really close to the Skansen Kronan which Nick and I climbed up to one of the days he came to visit (manymany stair-steps!). That is an excellent place from which to view the fireworks, though a fairly dangerous place too since it tends to be really crowded and lots of drunken people setting off fireworks of their own... *ducks and covers!*

By the way, speaking of my doctor friend and his lovely doctor wife: I said hello to Amanda yesterday, their second daughter who was born this past august. Oh she's SOOO CUTE! She held her tiny baby hand around the tip of my index finger in a tight grip and her head had just a teensy-weensy bit of ghostly blonde hair on it... She's old enough to smile, and she smiled lots and lots! Her eyes are the most wonderful shade of deep-deep blue, though chances are good that will change later. It looks really amazing now however.

And, there were lots and lots of baby drool also of course (collecting on Daddy's shoulders since he was holding her), though nobody cared since she was so utterly adorable! Smile

Well anyway

Good to hear you've returned safely. Sounds as though you had a good visit even if you didn't get to see everyone.

That New Year's party sounds as though it will be a blast. I've gone weak in the knees from trying to imagine you with only a black shirt and no briefs. Wink

Babies are sooo much fun, aren't they? My little granddaughter will be here to visit in a couple of weeks. She's just starting to try and walk and she calls everbody "Bob."

Think good thoughts,
e
