I've only read the first few chapters, but I'm not accustomed to the "comic book" nature of this presentation. I've also had a problem figuring out the character's private thoughts and dream sequences VS reality.

It does take a little while to untangle thoughts from plot, but I became used to it. Distnguishing between the characters as more are intrduced was amusing, but possible.There is insufficient facial detail as they arrive.
