Getting started

I've just finished reading the two 'Johnny' series by Nigel Gordon and I'm very impressed with them.  The plotting is fantastically complex but  somehow it works and even I find that I can follow the story!  The characters are delightful (except the baddies, of course) and he clearly knows his stuff about all the topics he covers.

I'm just really sad that Part Three has not been published and there doesn't seem to be much chance now that it will be.  No-one seems to have had any contact from Mr Gordon for some time.

I agree with your assessment. I read both books and learned to appreciate the characters a great deal. While I wish Nigel would be able to complete the series, I also have a sense of completeness with the tale as it stands.
