Rókus is a shy twenty year old virgin who comes out to his dad whose only concern is that his son ought to go out into the world and find a nice boy. The story follows Rókus and what happens as he takes his father's advice.
My new short story starts here very soon and I would love to get your feedback on what I write, either here on the forum (it's easy to join), or by email. When things are deadly quiet I do tend to ask myself what's going on, is there anybody here, do I have any readers? I know it's asking a lot, but with no communication I'm in an empty space, a void.
So, please, please, please, if you can take five minutes to give your comments, whatever they are, that would be fantastic!
Thank you, EKS (new author, new member).

I read "Rókus". The problem, because this is a sthort story, is that I'm having trouble figuring out what to say without spoiling the reading experience for others.
I found the story well written. The protagonist is sympathetic. He's going through a relatable experience. The plot is nuanced and realistic. The takeaway from the story, or at least what I took from it, is a valuable message about first experiences. And I appreciate that the author leaves part of the resolution ambiguous and up to the reader's own interpretation.
Sorry I can't say much more. But I would be interested in reading stories similar to "Rókus".

Ah! I saw it described as a short story and assumed that was it.
In that case, nice cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 1!

I think it is short, and it is a story, but a classic short story it is not.
It is not our usual fare, and yet, even just outside our niche, it has merit and has earned its place
