It's always enjoyable to find a new author, and I've just discovered Julien by Engor.   It'/s science fiction/fantasy, which for me is often a turn-off as the writing can often be of poor quality, but this is exquisite prose, rendered into English by David Clarke (whose stories about The Nexus I have also enjoyed).   I'm only disapppointed that he hasn't written more stories!

As always, very many thanks to our kind host for all the time and trouble he takes to provide us with reading material.  Your work is greatly appreciated, sir!

It's a superb bit of work, and one of my comfort reads when depression strikes. I've probably read it half a dozen times.
