From what I gather from the results in this survey if you want to be a religious scholar in America then you need to be an athiest.

My university college had/has a strong theology faculty. It was general knowledge that some of the best brains in it, students and teachers, were atheists.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
