According to Philip, with whom, I've just spoken, it would seem that he's "about to head off to the hospital and I think they may let us have Stephen. Amazing. He has had a heart breakfast and wants to go home. The doctor's can find no reason to detain him!"
Amazing!
So folks, the next update on Stephen's condition could very well come from Stephen himself.

Just a quick message to say that I am home. Confused, bewildered, pounding headache, feel like I've been hit by a truck and tired, but at least I am home.
I have seen the many messages of support here in "A Place of Safety" and also those in Rick's guestbook and, when I get the opportunity, I shall be personally responding to each and every one of them - I promise.
Until then, I am crying tears of sadness that I have, once more, through no fault of my own this time, been the centre of attention. Have you people nothing better to do? LOL!
Seriously, though, until I can send out those personal messages, please accept this Thank you en masse. You are all wonderful people and I love you all so very much. THANK YOU - HUGE HUGS TO ALL.
God bless you
Stephen

Don't cry because we care please... Or at least cry tears of happiness instead alright?
As for the nothing better to do, well I can't vouch for the rest of the forum of course, but for me personally: NO. I really don't!
Just concentrate on getting better, okay? No more adventures for you before you're all healed up. Hehe!
Talk more to you later, friend.

It's good to hear that you are doing better. Take care and get well. Oh, and while some of us may have something else to do, there is nothing better.
Think good thoughts,
