Another self-explanatory image, that also illustrates the craven-ness of the religious extremists!

This picture prompted the following thoughts:
1) looks about as sincere as a used car dealer, and that's probably unfair to the dealer.
2) who will purge the moneychangers and pharisees from the temple
3) beware of false prophets
4) It's the Mekon!

You forgot to ask who's going to expose the wolves in sheep's clothing! LOL

All great questions, but sadly, the religious establishment is so sold out at this point to the Trumpist cult that I think they've even forgotten that the New Testament includes things like The Beatitudes!
Speaking of sold out, the other establishment in the same position is the Republican party, and hopefully this illustrates wher that sorry partnership is headed!

I'm getting so tired of this sorry excuse for humanity I could puke all over the guy and walk off laughing.

He would have been long gone from here.
Even so Twitter and Facebook are too little too late

I think that a major irony here is if he hadn't used social media more than a fraction of what he did (or, at the very least, had been president prior to the existance of social media), he might have actually gotten a second term. I suspect it's the fact that he did have social media avaliable and just couldn't shut up that wound up being his downfall. (So let this be a lesson to everyone - as an old saying reminds us, sometimes silence really is golden!)

There's one thing about all this that seriously worries me. Over here in the UK we are fed World News as a dietary requirement, and looking at commentators throughout the world, it's almost impossible to find any that side with your dick President. So, why is it that he managed to convince slightly less than half of the voting population of the US that he was, after all, not barking mad, not phychotic, but rather a sane and very able man whose only objective was to help the American people, and in the so-doing, help the rest of humanity?
Yes it appears that DJT's time has come. But America.... DJT Mark 2 is waiting in the wings. And he is not so crazy. He's fucking dangerous!

--Hello Andy.
What if the President of the United States of America was insane? Well, up to this day, I always thought we'd never see such a thing. Totally an imposibility for it to happen. But there were some signs that loomed, such as after Barack Obama became our nation's first black President, there came the patriot movement. It was the initial point that America was heading into some trouble. Then trump became president and he snatched the patriot movement and knew these folks would win him the next election. Then his whisperer, Steve Miller, soon fed him poison, small amounts at first so as not to outright harm him, but enought to build up an immunity to the poison and also create an addiction to it. The lies, the power and the thrill of it all was too much for trump to handle but he didn't care.
Now I'm thinking we never had a president who turned his back to this country and take what he knows to our emeny. Now that would be quite dangerous.

Sometimes it's not so much "convincing" anyone but sometimes almost having to pick between the lesser of two evils, except that neither is the "lesser" evil between the two major candidates (they're both evil, just in different ways).
The first has to do with the political dimension, and of all I've read, Eric Alterman sums it up perfectly today when he said: "Finally, Trumpism has clarified itself. It's not about "economic insecurity." It's not about globalization. It's not about being "forgotten," "disdained by elites," or "fear of the future." It's just about hatred: hatred of anyone and anything who is not a white, Christian, right-wing, American-born American. Any other attempt to defend or explain Trump's appeal is a lie and a dangerous one at that because it's a lie that perpetuates all the other lies that have allowed him and his minions to conduct a rampage against America and all that it stands for; the same rampage that finally found its physical manifestation in the insurrectional riot we saw on Wednesday."
The second dimension, which is deeper and more insidious is the cultic. For the majority of his followers Trump is the leader of a cult. You know, devotion directed toward a particular leader, or misplaced and excessive admiration as in a cult of personality. There's no other way to explain the degree to which most of Trump's followers have made the conscious choice to replace common sense, fact and truth with conspiracy theories. Combine the two together, and you have a movement characterized by religious fervor built on a foundation of grievance.
Since for Trump it's al about power, the marks are led to believe that he, and he alone, cares about them and will restore them to their rightful place. That is the Faustian bargain they make (knowingly or unknowingly!).
This hardly qualifies as a "Trump Laugh of the Week," unless you have a very sardonic sense of humor.
It is, though, an illustration of where we are concerning the man and his administration that pose a threat to so many different types of people worldwide, not the least of which are LGBTQ folks.
In the realm of "what about them..." justification, in this case for the loss to the Orange Clown's Twitter account, we have Don Jr. trying to explain the mess by saying:
