We all love these wonderful Christian organizations and the way they embrace the gay community...well I could be wrong...yes, I am. Let's take that loving organization the American Family Association, a perpetual favorite right wing hate group:

The AFA doesn't like me, the horror of it! Such devout people who see the face of Jesus in everything ought to be ashamed. Look at the way they have blasted their message and urged boycotts of retail outlets who do not embrace the true meaning of Christmas. But I am not talking about the birth of Jesus. This is all about the money!

Happy Holidays is out, un-Christian acording to the AFA. They want to see the word Christmas asociated with Santa and sales everywhere. Major retail stores have followed the threat as you can see in the article. Jesus' birthday is now for sale (although most intelligent people know he wasn't born on December 25th, that was a pagan holiday...but I digress)
So the AFA is assured that Jesus will be associated with the making of money. Too bad it isn't an original thought, the Pope beat them to it centuries ago. Perhaps in their new role as Jesus merchants they will leave this poor gay man alone. I'm not buying anything they have for sale.
Age appears to be best in four things; old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read. (Sir Francis Bacon 1561-1626)
