I have no idea what you mean. The mailing list is not the same as subscribing to the forum, and that is not the same as subscribing to a message or thread. I guess you gotta experiment

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
