When attempting to load the rss feed by pasting in the url posted to do so, my reader (SharpReader) gives the following error:

Error parsing RSS XML: There is an invalid character in the given encoding. Line 129, position 15.
Please try to validate this feed. If this feed validates as correct RSS, you can send an error report.

Any ideas?

All I can say is that it works in Thunderbird and in other readers. It is "just XML", nothing special

It it persists please can you email megaman (address at the foot of the forum), but don't expect a reply until next week because he's busy as hell at present

Is anyone else having trouble with the RSS feed?

Usually works fine for me (Mozilla 1.7 under Micro$not XP).

Some problems today with it not picking up stuff - when I restarted Moz because I'd accidentally closed the ticker window it suddenly picked up a whole bunch of posts.

But this could well be because I've been on the OUTeverywhere site, and they've had such problems with the new site code/style/bugfixes/other stuff since last friday that it could well be that Moz got upset by some 'undocumented feature' they've introduced ...

As a matter of fact the last 8 posts have not shown up via RSS. The last one was at 19:52 UK time.

I think we had some data centre routing issues this evening. That may have caused it. I certainly had a pause on mine, and the site would not ping my local IP, though I could ping the site.

Some sort of odd glitch seems to have resolved itself.

Whatever a GUID is, the thread parsed to reveal an "invalid one". And yet nothing had altered. My own newsreader failed, but the Tickers ran fine. Now the newsfeed runs again.
