Greetings-

Another raw carrot question: What do you think would happen to the tone and temper of the board if a woman were to decide to join the fray?

No, I don't have one up my sleeve, so no threat implied. Just another random neural firing.

Regards-
Simon

Females have visited this board in the past and for all we know are vsiting it right now as lurkers. I recall that in the past some of them were quite active in the discussions. It made no difference whatsoever to the tenor of the board or its discussions.

Greetings-

Thanks, I only have a little history here.

To hijack my own thread for a second, and because I never seem to learn...

My assumption is that signatures exist to express a point or thought. I'm not sure why commenting on them gets me in trouble, but here I go again

Discrimination against human beings for being who they are is what the Nazis did.
Isn't that what Everyone who discriminates did/does?

Simon

no. I discriminate against people who behave badly. That is "what they do" now what they are nor who they are

So?

Are we to discriminate against blacks, women, gays, Jews, Catholics, Welshmen... just because they are what they are? Look at the person behind the label.

I change my sig every now and then, and this one will be going soon.

WOMEN JOIN THIS BOARD!!! Perish the thought. I have said it before and I will say it again many of us think too much.

We read things into statements that are not there. We try and group likes and dislikes in to groups. Anal sex. Bi, Men kissing men etc etc etc. I am a passionate kisser no one knows that except the people I have kissed. I fall in love (lust if you prefer) easily. With a great deal of emotion for my partner.

I would say I have an active sex life, in the sack several times a month with a lover. I am not a fan of anal sex. Top or bottom. I am very oral. I if I may say so am also very good at cunnilingus. But given a choice I will take a penis any day.

Greetings

As I have said before; the world can be divided into two groups: Those that divide the world into groups, and those that don't. I, of course, am a member of the latter group, and it would seem that you are too.

As far as everything else you said, well noted and filed for.... I'm not sure what.

Regards
Simon

There have been women on this board before (though it might not have been obvious). So, not a lot.

If a woman announced she was here, however, and posted regularly, it would probably change the board's nature slightly: people would possibly be slightly more self-conscious and hence not quite so aggressive or competitive. There might also be a certain amount of chivalry -- I'm not sure if that's good or not. Probably not -- I'd like to think that people here are sympathetic towards each other regardless of sex, age, orientation etc.

This is not so much a gay messageboard as a general messageboard with predominantly gay, male members. I think it would be great if we had some more viewpoints. One cannot have a really good (polite) discussion where the vast majority understand the arguments and agree before the subject has even been mentioned.
