Greetings-
A nasty day here, so I'm puttering indoors instead of out.
Cleaning and whatnot. I was wondering if anyone else has treasures that they would like to talk about.
What takes your fancy? What would you have if money weren't a concern? Do you create any of your own?
I like glass, both functional and non. Lamps in the functional and paperweights and sculptures in the non. I suppose that stained glass windows could be argued as functional, but here you have to have the low - e stuff to survive the summer or the winter, so it is really non for me.
Regards

Does a collection of films count as an art collection?

I also have several sculpture pieces from a variety of artists.... also in the genre of fantasy art.

We also have a collection of several hundred vintage hollywood movie still photography....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We also have a collection of vintage art film in the nakey genre....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We also have a collection of several hundred contemporary films.... Nothing special, just things we like to watch.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am in the process of liquidating my cook book collection.... Once it amassed to just over 10,000 we figured it was just taking up too much room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I once had a collection of rare chinese jade, the tax man saw fit to relieve me of most of it but I did however manage to escape with a few choice pieces.
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Greetings
Photography is as close as I've ever gotten to making art.
Someone summed my work up as: "monochromatic still lifes with ships in them"
Accurate, but somehow the wrong flavor.
I also did a lot of B&W child portraiture.

I have plenty of treasures i would like to talk about, but I usually write about them in my stories and haiku(s).

Decanters, though I can't afford them, not the ones I like
I would also like paintings by Klitz, in his "london period"

Greetings
I've got a couple of old cut crystal decanters, but nothing special I'm afraid.
I use to drink Bells navy rum a lot when I was there. Here it is cognac or bourbon. What would be your preferred spirit to decant?
