and i only see a couple familiar names when i backread..

anyways it's me, heathyr.. former drama-queen and troublemaker, come to say hello and see how everyone is. hopefully this post finds everyone i knew, well.

i myself am doing okay, about to start my last leg of school (distance learning) for my BA in clinical science. my daughter will be 13 in march and is in 7th grade, doing amazing with grades, and orchestra.

i am possibly getting married in 2008, but i'm not sure. there's no rush, since i know one day he and i will marry, i am not too bent on when that is. he is accepting of my gender issues, and other issues, and i of his. i guess you all were right -- it'll happen one day. Smile

so how is everyone? please update me in this thread, i miss you all, and would like to hear about people who are new to me, too.

-heathyr

Hi Very Happy Nice to see you around.

Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

Hi Curtis a drama queen is a woman, that makes a fuss out of everything.

i.e. drops a can on the floor, all you do is pick it up.
A drama queen would probably when telling some one the story say that the can rolled all the way round the shop.
Sad) Cool :-/

Well, a drama queen can be a man too, if he's inclined to be fussy and hysterical and seeks attention all the time -- especially if he's also a bit camp or effeminate. It's obviously a pejorative term, so it's safest to apply it only to oneself.

well, first we'd lament every possible reason WHY the can dropped on the floor, how awful it is, how life JUST CANT GO ON because it fell on the floor... and then we'd kick it around to make it worse, etc etc...

well, i dont know that i was ever THAT terrible, but i do know i have little to no friends left here, but... always find myself lurking about and thinking about this place. it was a VERY, very important part of my life in 2003 and 2004.

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

i've been working like a doggggggg... summertime in the hospital is not pretty!

plus my bugg is pushing 13, and it's different hanging out with/being a mother to a young woman as opposed to a young child, so i hadn't been online as much, etc.

with school being back in, i'm online a little more while she does homework, and, well.. saw shem online and searched for this site and forum again (i've been through 3 computer crashes and lost all my links long ago).

i hope you're well; we'll catch up.

likewise, if you dont think i'm too old! Smile
(or fault me for being female, hehehe!) no no, i'm kidding.

i have friends of all ages. my daughter's violin teacher is 17, will be 18 in novemeber, and we're good friends. i guess it helps that i'm a younger mom, her and i are nearly the same generation. live and learn.

i'm still backreading when im able to hop on the internet, to read up on what all's gone on and to read about those who are here i never met before. i definitely do look forward to posting/chatting/etc with ya as time goes on. Smile

i don't know that i caused trouble, so much as i took things too serious or too far; others i got too involved with and either let them down, or felt let down. to be honest, a lot of that era of my life is a sharp blur -- that's dichotomous i know, but i don't know how else to describe it. i could go dig up my posts but that'd really do me no good, nor anyone else.

and, you have a nice life too! Very Happy laughing is good, yes.
