Uff, I'm already looking forward to reading next chapter. This one dragged me in and never let me out until I finished reading it.
I wonder where the experience (of the author) comes from. Something personal? Wild imagination (if so, it really seems genuine)?
Timmy, was there any commentary from the author? When do you expect next chapter? Will they appear regularly?

I have 7 chapters in total, though he thinks there are 8. So I am checking with him. They'll appear in the rolling update schedule over the next couple of weeks.
I think there may be more to come after these. Not totally sure.
Now the tale IS on Nifty, but I think the chapters he has sent to me differ quite widely from the Nifty version.

Hi All,
I am so thrilled to be posted here and to have the great things said about my story from the best of the best humbles me greatly.I guess We need a happy blushing happy face emoticon here.
There are indeed 7 chapters so far, not eight. nothing beyond 4 has been edited yet however so it still reads like I wrote it. It will be the same version as on Nifty as I am too busy to write separate versions, nor would I think it wise to do so. I have enough trouble keeping track of one version. I do have in mind a lot more in the way of adventures for the boys.
I had the opportunity to work with some blind kids in my youth. I always found their lives to be interesting. I also have two readers who have identified themselves as blind. They are now my advisors. They wrote to praise the light that I added to their darkness. We will have some adventures where Jamie will get to try further dark experiments. In fact I am so stoked with their suggestion I think they will begin some of the experiments just as soon as they get out of the hosp. . . ooops. I almost tipped a secret.
Thanks again for the emails and I will be here more often as I have always wanted to see what being "self impressed" felt like. So far, it's uncomfortable. lol

Dear Marek,
I feel (I think) as you do. What willl happen next? I hate the suspense and would prefer not to begin reading if the story isn't complete. It's you and Michael that persuaded me this time and I'm already regretting it.
How can I last until I get some more satisfaction? I think you owe me one!

These days I make a point of not reading a serialised story until it's complete. Sorry, Paul, I won't be looking at 'Minky's World' yet.

Sometimes I pity myself that I am not an English native speaker, my stories would probably look lame and imperfect in language. Sometimes I envy you...(all the writers). And not enough time at the moment anyway...
On the other hand, I'm a dedicated reader and since I found iomfats.org the number of "normal" books has somewhat decreased...
