Ah-ha! Finally, after chapter 12 we (I) discover the "jigsaw puzzle" reference! 😀 Hopefully, Ian finds the pieces that fit together.

It's been a good read so far.   What I really like about The Jigsaw Puzzle is that it doesn't stick with the 'I found this beautiful boy and we are in love for the rest of our lives' trope as we read so often.   Although he is quite young, the series of casual encounters, imperfect relationships and learning through both joyful and painful experiences are a common part of gay life which often isn't reflected in gay stories of decent literary value.
