I'm working on the 6th chapter of a story. I would love to get 2 or 3 beta readers to offer opinions on readability and not falling asleepism

I can do that. I've had three dead tree books published, with a fourth at the publisher at the moment, so I am reasonably competent in that area.

I'm willing to give beta reading for you a shot if you want. I tend to pick up on inconsistencies written into a story as well as notice unclear sentences or situations. If you want me to just shoot me a PM. No big deal either way.
