I expect simple behaviours here. Friendship, and love.

THE VIEW FROM MY ROOM.
Hmm, the view from my room I - wish;
in yonder Café there were two dishes;
One I ate, and one I met.
The one I met, fulfilled my wishes.
I walked, and took a table there;
the sounds of evening everywhere
And then he came, my friend to be;
he sat down naturally next to me.
The boy Venetian, not like me;
began to chat, so pleasantly.
His olive skin, beyond compare;
I could not bear to look elsewhere.
We ordered wine to suit the food;
the music complements the mood.
Our eyes entwined. like roots of vine;
Then I was his, and he was mine.
