I'm torn between being being gleefully suborned by Trump based schadenfreude, and feeling sorry for the old git.

Same, though I seem to fall most often on the side of glee, when I'm not thinking about it. Still, it is pathetic, isn't it? But there are those who seem to believe it's yet one more ploy by the orange baboon. I tend to doubt it greatly but the thought is out there for sure.
Ah, well... "It is what it is," right?

I am so embarrassed to be a citizen of the USA right now. I literally want to burn my passport. It's no good now anyway. I can't wait for this orange POS to go away!

What about the honey, Pooh? What about the HONEY!
Dear (whatever deity you fancy) there has to be Honey at some point in the future... doesn't there?

UK centric but, for those that live here, sadly true. Buffoons command on both sides of the pond.

Camy: loved your posts today. You'll have to expand a bit about the buffoons ruling in the UK, for us on this side of the pond. Also, I would raise a technical point that Bill Maher's "President Gus" bit (while funny and right on the mark) doesn't really qualify as a "laugh of the week!" It's more lie an apocalyptic view of the immediate future!

Ah, the buffoons!
Well, like you, we have a blond in charge - though he doesn't put on orange slap, and his hair is generally accepted to be his own.
Boris Johnson went to Eton (top tier school) and Oxford University - where he was a member of: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullingdon_Club
It's said that Johnson burnt a £50 note in front of a homeless man who asked for spare change... he denies it.
And, like the US, the UK has a disproportionately large number of covid deaths compared to other European countries.
When all's said and done I think they make a pretty damn Buffoonistic pair!

--Unfortunately the premise behind GUS seems to be prevalent in US business and probably in US society generally - 'play the rules' , not 'play by the rules' and certainly not 'play by the spirit of the rules'. Along with the second guiding principle of 'never give a sucker an even break' leads to a 'win at all costs'/'ends justifies the means' mentality. No wonder they have to have so many lawyers...
...or are they driving it?

Today is Election Day. Let's hope we can throw the orange, binky sucking baboon out!

And now that we are definitively past the election results, and Donald Trump has been "FIRED" by the American electorate, we can revel in this confirmation of his true nature:
