I am ashamed to say that all of this happened one county over from where I spent part of my childhood. My father and two of my aunts attended college there.

Kentucky has a Democratic governor in Andy Beshear. It will be interesting to see if he might go after the Presidency. Assuming that Trump lets us vote ...

LGBT folk were once the vocal minority. I feel our arguments are stronger than bigotry, but the orange man-baby is encouraging bigotry and fascism and has (at least) three more years to run.

I was surprised the Court passed on this one. It has made so many bad judgments lately; this one would have fit in perfectly with those. It would fit with their apparent intention of taking us back a century or so to where Blacks had no rights at all and women were second class citizens who couldn't vote or own property. How this would make America great again only lives in the mind of the Great Orange. And too many of his buddies on the Court who swore to uphold the Constitution and instead are tossing it out the window.
