Hi, everyone. Can I introduce myself? I'm Jack, from England.
I'm really glad to have found this site, and thank you, Mr Site Owner, for all your hard work.
I particularly like the stories by Mihangel. I think they are written with great style.
I've a puzzle, I wonder if anyone can solve it. I'm trying to track down a story I read two or three years ago. It's a very sweet MM romance, set in England. One of the partners has an alcoholic mother, a vicious bully of a father, and sibling twins who never speak. It does have a happy ending!
All the best,
Jack

Welcome to the site.
As for your story, it does not sound like a story I read, and i read a lot on many different sites. Sorry I can't help you there.
Was it a new story when you originally read it? It could help retrace it, but since your new to this site, it is unlikely you read it here but possible the author could be on this site as well as others.
If you have a date approximations, I can look in sites I usually read to find if the story could be there in those I haven't read and might help others as well look for it

Thank you for your reply and your welcome.
I read the story two or perhaps three years ago. I have a feeling it may have been commercially published, but I'm not sure. I'm just hoping someone might recognize it from my description.

This is another site I read and they have a page for now published work of some of their authors, it is castle Roland.
Here is the link, the stories I believe have a description so if you think it might now be published work check if it isn't one of these.
https://castleroland.net/hall-of-published-authors/
I wonder if this site here have something similar?
btw looking at it I found a story I believe I read here not 100% sure thought protecting David from Terrence Audette, but usually once they become published the website hosting them are usually asked to remove them.

Hey Hi English Jack.
What's a MM romance, is a man on man? Never mind about the liquor mama, vivacious bully, or mute twins, who is the protagonist in the story? Is he a farmboy or pansyboy? I've got stories on here, but have moved on from them. Have you got plans for any stories on here?
Ryxler.

No, I've had no luck in tracking it down. I shall have to abandon the search, but hope that it just pops up of its own accord one day!

Unfortunately sometime it happens, websites hosting it for example closed down, authors sometime publish and are under contract to remove those stories or god forbid authors die, are some example.
I remember long ago in the end 1990s a story i was reading something like kovland or kovsland the author Hard drive died and story was lost he was even looking for people who might have a copy of the story to restore it at the time. I have no idea if he managed to find it since then. I should look myself since i was reading it at the time it was lost in case maybe I could read it again.
Btw if someone remembers that story since its so long ago and has seen it since do let me know, I know at the time he had asked for help from nifty.org and was planning to put it there if found to have multiple backup for the future.
Btw for authors a trick I learned in case of legal issues on your stories email yourself a copy when you first write the story so you have a date to prove when it was first written and archive the email so it stays in your email for years down the road.
P.s. sorry you couldn't find your story peterson54.

Many worthy stories from authors no longer available on their original websites can be tracked down on the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine - I'd looked up the stories by Lavender Quill (originially a Tripod site) there, before realising that they were also on Nifty, for example.
