So, here's the latest with Conor.
About 3 weeks ago, Conor started taking another bus in the afternoon. But he's still on my bus in the morning, so if I'm on in the morning, I'll see him. I think it gets him home much earlier. Plus, he doesn't have to wait for our bus, which picks up students from the girls school. So, he can just get on the bus and leave...
Anyhoo...
So I'm standing around, waiting for my bus, talking with my friend Ed. And the big fleet of busses is leaving the parking lot, and then Conor's bus goes by. And there he is, sitting by the window, and I see him...and he's looking right at me. I didn't think much of it, and I continue to talking to Ed. A few moments later, I subconsciously turn my head in the direction of the bus, and there he is again, looking right at me. I mean, he wasn't smiling, but he wasn't mad or anything. Couldn't really pick up an emotion from it. But this is the kid who avoided me and refused to even glance at me for months. I wonder what's going on in that kid's head. What do you guys think?
