Me and a good friend were chatting over MSN, me telling of a weird nightmare kind of dream I'd had, and we managed to say essentially the same thing almost at the same time. Suddenly my friend blurts this weird word (with three!!! exclamation marks after it), and I go like, 'huh?´...
It seems, whenever two people say the same thing simultaneously, you both yell out this word and the one who does it the fastest wins. Well, since I was totally not aware of this pastime he won of course, so I asked what I was supposed to do as punishment for losing. My friend teasingly said something like, people have different preferences in this regard, but then claimed only playing to win. Hehe, I was ready to be dared, but no such luck! 
Anyway, he then wanted me to go post a feel-good post on the board, to which I more or less refused, since I was having a pretty lousy day. I think my friend got a bit bummed over this but I simply can't pretend to be happy when I'm not. That is worse than lying.
Anyway, today I am making a post.
I've been spending some time in Sanctuary, building up my mercenary friend so he won't die quite so much. I made him a nice 'Honor' runeword weapon out of a socketed grim scythe I found the other day, but as it turned out the guy didn't have enough strength to equip it! Must level him up more...
The 'Honor' runeword is very nice, it gives good bonuses for some quite common and easy to find runes. You need a five-socketed weapon though, and those aren't very common. Thus I was rather fortunate to stumble over that polearm, and I feel it should serve him quite well.
I only went out very briefly today from my apartement. I know I should send a card to an aunt of mine thanking her for the birthday present she gave me. I haven't really been able to get off my butt and actually do it.
Anyway, the reason I did get out today is because I needed to buy some food. Bread to eat, and some candy for tonight and the season finale of '24', I love that show.
It was raining. We've had a really good winter this year, lots of cold and quite a bit of snow. There was cold and a little bit of snow in december when my friend Nick came to see me like I've said before, and then more came later. We've had a fair cover all up until just a few days ago when temperatures started rising. Now a smothering blanket of grey rain was pouring down. I didn't even get wet though, I walked on the external walkways, looking at the rain. I could only see a few hundred meters, normally I have clear sight for at least five kilometers to the north, maybe more.
It wasn't a depressing grey rain however, even though it was grey and all. Dusk is one of my favorite times of the day, things look so different when darkness is starting to fall. The imagination flows much more freely - at least for me.
So I watched the rain for a little bit and then went to the store to get the stuff I needed for tonight.
All that wasn't really the point of this email though.
What made me able to enjoy the rain (and the nice shower I'd had before that), was an email from someone I don't know.
I get lots of emails from people I don't know. Most of them start like, "Bad debts giving you a headache? Let us help!", "Need a house mortgage?" "Enlarge your penis!", etc etc. This one was from a real person though, someone who read one of my stories and wrote me to tell how much he liked it... I could have shown it to you so you could see for yourselves why it totally made my day, but then that might look like me bragging about my stories so I won't do that.
Suffice to say, it was really awesome.
So here it is. My feel-good post.
