I was tidying up. Noticed a drip from the radiator by thge dining table. Got a spanner and tightened it up.

PING Water sprayed everywhere.

The thread of the tap has broken. Overtightened by the original plumber 22 years ago. Bastard.

So we have now drained the radiators, unsoaked the crapets, are washing 10 wet towels and waiting until Monday when I can call a plumber. Which I needed in the first place, of course.

I am unamused.
