I posted this in the thread about the Southern Baptists, but it got pushed to the 2nd page so I am posting it again.

I didn't want to offend anyone. I was just trying to make a joke. I was raised as a Southern Baptist and sometimes like to make fun of it.

Of course I wouldn't want to send you to Antarctica (unless you want to go).

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
