Perhaps it started with all the fighting, or perhaps it was all the talk of all the fighting. Perhaps it is the "discussion" over whether we will be allowed to "debate" or "discuss" in the future. Perhaps it's none of those. Perhaps it's just me. Perhaps I've changed. Perhaps I need something different.
I've called this place home for a little over a year now. But I no longer get the same feeling I got when I first started coming here. There was a sense of community and fellowship. Everyone was welcome and anyone could speak whatever was one his (or her) mind. We kept each other in line. We resolved our own conflicts, sometimes with a gentle nudge from another. We offered help to those who needed it. We accepted help from those willing to give it. We had fun when we could. This was a place for those with serious issues. This was a place for those with not so serious issues.
It used to make me feel good to come here. Now it makes me cry.
I'm not leaving, but for the moment I'm out of good thoughts,
