Our good buddy Andy is currently in Rome. He had a free half hour of computer time coming to him, so he honored me by using some of it for an AIM chat. This was at about 3pm (U.S. Eastern Daylight Savings Time), and he reckoned that in about 35 hours from then, he'll be singing, "Arrivederci, Roma!" and wending his way back home.

Since this will probably be the last time he'll be online until he gets back, I think it would be super if we now "flood" (relative term!) his e-mail with "welcome home" messages from each of us, which he'll see on his first check of e-mail when he gets home on Saturday afternoon (again, U.S. Eastern Daylight Savings Time). His address is darkwingedducks@yahoo.com (which can be linked to from any of his "thirdfencepost" postings). I know he'd really (really!) appreciate it.
