I expect simple behaviours here. Friendship, and love.
Any advice should be from the perspective of the person asking, not the person giving!

The words can be taken individually, as each word has its own meaning, or they can be taken collectively with sometimes subtle, sometime gross, alterations in those meanings. Each person who reads those words applies their own style, experience, and knowledge to glean their own interpretation which, hopefully, is somewhere close to the author's aim. Most try to not read the individual word, but look at the complete thought and react with their personal knowledge. Others read each word, looking for any implied or overt threat in the individual meanings.

Most who post here are not out to change anyone's life or thought processes. They are stating an opinion which when accepted for what it is, and even half-way understood, adds to each reader's knowledge and experience.

Word on a message board are just that, words on a message board. Yes, words can hurt, but only if the reader chooses to allow them to hurt. Otherwise they are just pixels on the screen arranged in a particular order.

I agree with timmy. If you want to leave because you choose to allow these pixels to form your life and steer your feelings, or force you to take umbrage at another person's thoughts, then in the words of a recently famous TV show: "You are the weakest link, goodbye!"

"Peace and Trees"
"Love to All"
"Think Good Thoughts"
"Party on, Dude!"
