.. as I'm seldom here anymore. I can't seem to "register" either; but that doesn't matter much either. In fac this is the first ime in some time that I've made an appearance here.
I just wanted to say .. I came back this morning because I was told about the apparent renewed bickering and in-fighting that seems to be occurring here. It would seem this is the case, as I note that on this, the first page, out of maybe 20 threads, some 10-or-more are dealing with lack of harmony or discord amongst the community here.
THIS IS BOGUS PEOPLE, and simply put not on!
"A Place of Safety" is supposed to be about fostering an environment of friendship and caring, and help freely given to all who ask for it, without any regard to our own self interest.
I may have my "valid" reasons for no-longer being a particpant here, and frankly don't look for me to become one again; but I do care about this Board and it's purpose, and will continue to recommend it to others who I know will benefit from its strengths.
Those of us who largley contributed to the much of the past disharmony and outright friction here are all but gone from here. All who remain should have been able to pick up the pieces and carry the ball, and move things forward. I see that has not been done, and I'm prompted to ask why?
Get your act together folks. Some of you may feel no further benefit from this Forum, but there are thousands of troubled youngsters out there, and many a tormented adult, who will. Are you not going to extend to them the same welcome that was accorded you in your time of need?
Think about it.
Speading dessention, and further the friction amongst this communities membership will not be, and is not, the welcome they should be receiving.
