Well 4 out of 5 ain't bad.

The Library was saved in a very stong vote. Also we have a new Mayor in Royaol Oak (straight, but a good man). In Ferndale the gay member of city council is now the head of the council (the one with the most votes heads the council). In Birmingham we have a gay Mayor (another friend).

Olny my friend Gary (also gay) did not win his council seat, but promised to run again. It was a very close race, less than a 150 vote margin.

So all in all, we had a good day yesterday. Now I am ready for some extra sleep.
